I heard in a movie once
that spiders live on the north
side of their webs
to which I scoffed.
The spiders here face
away from trees, lights
and buildings, because
the insects stick to that side
with more space.
And the golden orb weaver
in the web on the backhoe's
neck faces the left of wherever
the backhoe is facing at the time.
